Our first race of the year; long-awaited and anticipated with baited breath and fingers crossed that no re-introductions of Covid restrictions would snatch it out from underneath us. The sun shone, there was a cold breeze and there was a lot of fun! The no-prep car guys that we were sharing the track with were up first, which worked well for the bikes as they were laying down rubber on a track which hadn’t been used since last year. It was wonderful to see new and long-time members, as well as juniors and generations of families taking part and enjoying the sport together.
