After due consideration by the committee, we will be increasing the annual membership fee for the National Sprint Association from £25 to £30. We are proud of being one of the most affordable forms of motorcycle racing, and the cost of membership has remained the same for many years. However, with a continuing increase in costs we feel it is now the right time to raise the fee our members pay, to protect the club’s future. Thank you for your continuing support, we look forward to seeing you all back at the track for the 2020 season.
Membership Fees
I have always thought that the question of membership fees could only be amended at the AGM where a vote would be taken to approve or not.
Just to clear up a few things, I am in favour of the increase, the membership fee has been £25 for a very long time and was due to be increased, so I am pleased it has happened. The reason for my comment is that traditionally the subject of fees etc was always discussed at the main AGM. Under the circumstances I can see why this has not happened. I hope that clears things up. I will go back to sleep now.
