If you’re wanting to take part in any of our events, here’s what you need to know.

Racers

This year, our events are bring held under the Code of Practice and Discipline Regulations of NORA 92 Ltd. You can find their Sprint Reglations here.

You also need to look at our own Technical Regulations and Supplementary Regulations, which have been revised and updated for 2024 and reflect the change in our governing body.

And of course, you will need to join the NSA, and hold a licence issued by NORA 92 Ltd for sprinting. All licences are valid from 1 January to 31 December of the year of issue.

Riding Kit

Riders need to have either a one piece leather suit, or two-piece leathers that zip together over 75 percent of the waist, provided that the zip attaches to the leather and not the lining of the piece. You will also need suitable gloves, a helmet that bears the ACU Gold Stamp and boots that at least cover the ankle.

Machines

Bikes, scooters, trikes and sidecars are able to take part in our sprint meets. Machines in the road legal class have to have their lights and mirrors taped up. Racing class machines have to be fit for purpose, and sump plugs must be lockwired.

Full details are in the official documents which are linked to above. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have read and understood these documents.
