What a way to kick off the 2019 racing season!
The sun was out, the wind was kind and it made for a fantastic weekend racing. No doubt there’ll be a proper report in our club magazine, The Sprinter, but we’ve heard about new bike modifications, new PBs and new faces.
The results are already in and can be seen on our results page.
We also made a bank holiday appearance at the Stone Circle Bike show on bank holiday Monday, where we were awarded a lovely certificate.
2019 looks set to be another great year for the National Sprint Association!

Congratulations to everyone who fought hard battles for personal bests over the weekend. The standard of racing was high and I say all who took part deserve a pat on the back for their efforts. I would also like to personally thank the people who attended the Stone Circle Bike Show on the Monday as well. It wasn’t easy dragging oneself out of bed on what should have been a well deserved day of rest to drive half way across the country for another event but a considerable amount of people did and put on a well received display of diverse machinery. (There were thirteen bikes altogether but I was unfortunately unable to get a clear picture of them in one shot as when the last couple arrived, the crowds were already roaming around.) Here’s to the next event.
I’ve had a look through the results as I was interested in how well V117 the Ariel Arrow was going, but I can’t see any times for him at all? Or I need a trip to the optician. Thanks
